The Ladder of Language: From Receptive to Expressive
Join us for our Parent Enrichment Series, The Ladder of Language: from Receptive to Expressive on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 3:45 - 6 pm.
During this interactive session, you will learn how children ages 0-6 develop their receptive and expressive skills by "climbing the ladder" of language.
You will learn how children travel up the steps of the development ladder learning to understand words, gaining the ability to use vocabulary, putting words together in sentences to communicate, reading, writing, and using grammar.
The session will also demonstrate how Montessori materials help your child with these skills and get ideas of how to support this learning at home! Our teachers will lead this presentation.

Join us for our fall Parent Enrichment Series, Positive Discipline, on Thursday, September 25, 25 3:45 - 6 pm.
During this interactive session, we will discuss various techniques to get the most cooperation and consideration out of your children. Through role play, we will experience first-hand how certain word choices and careful listening techniques can lead to a calmer and more satisfied child. Our lead teachers will discuss how we use this model in the classroom and how to use it in your home.
